The DuoModo xMac mini Module provides secure computer mounting in a DuoModo desktop or rackmount enclosure.(1) It includes a built-in 40Gbps Thunderbolt storage dock that adds NVMe storage expansion and additional ports for connecting peripherals.

Front Panel Connectivity

40Gbps Thunderbolt and 10Gbps USB Ports
The front panel features one passthrough 40Gbps Thunderbolt port and three 10Gbps USB ports (two Type-C, one Type A) for connecting peripherals.

• 2. USB-A Port – Connect a USB-A peripheral device
• 3. Passthrough 40Gbps Thunderbolt Port – Connect a Thunderbolt peripheral device, display(s), or USB device (when connected with the proper cable or adapter)

Versatile Internal Expansion

M.2 SSD Storage + Internal USB Type A Port
On top of the dock are two M.2 NVMe SSD sockets for one or two M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe SSDs (sold separately). The dock also features an internal USB Type A port that's perfect for connecting an iLok USB-A, thumb drive, or bus-powered USB storage drive.

• 2. Internal USB-A Connector – Connect an iLok USB-A, thumb drive, or bus-powered USB storage drive
• 3. 40Gbps Thunderbolt Dock Interface Connector – Connect the included 40Gbps Thunderbolt cable between this connector and the Thunderbolt connector on the installed Mac mini
• 4. Temperature-controlled Fan – Provides cooling for the Thunderbolt dock, installed SSDs (sold separately), and the module's supporting Thunderbolt and power circuitry
• 5. Computer Housing and Bracket Location – Padded bracket secures Mac mini in place

Quiet Operator

The DuoModo xMac mini Module includes a temperature controlled, variable-speed fan that automatically and quietly provides cooling for the Thunderbolt dock, any installed SSDs, and the module’s power adapter.

Combine with Other DuoModo Modules

By connecting a DuoModo Echo III Module, you can connect PCIe cards required to provide additional connectivity and functionality, while plugging in a DuoModo eGPU Module* enables users to install in a GPU card capable of supporting many pro applications’ needs.
